i was "roaming" around friendster just now .
and i came across dede's profile . for those who went for LIFE 4 . you guys should know who she is luh .
and memories just flashed back . perharps im to sentimental/emotional , i felt sad.
why ? her profile had some pictures of CHAO TAI MAI and the LIFE4 people .
reminiscene you can say (: after looking at those photos , it set me thinking that we , singaporeans
can enjoy watching tvee playing computer and buy new clothes every now and then . what about them ?
and so much after i came back to s'pore , ive forgotten what the people over thr experience in their every day life .
i dont think that we should look at the third world country people as poor and unhappy people.
cos' what they have is what we dont . they have beautiful scenery just outside their door .
the freedom they get is what you dont get here in singapore.
in s'pore or rather in first world countries , people slog like there's no tomorrow , people mug like there's no tomorrow .
yes , after all the mugging and slogging , you get your pay your nice grades . and you need that in order
to get you new clothes , good food , houses , good transport and all . BUT after getting all this , ask yourself
ARE YOU HAPPY ? hahaha . in places like thailand and the third world countries , they DONT get good amenities , good food, nice / branded clothes BUT THEY ARE HAPPY . its because to them , all they need is just 3meals , a roof over their head .
AND THATS IT . simple yet contented . they dont need all the bloody certs , they dont needa mug nor slog .
they perharps will only need to sell some pratas, some drinks , go fishing or farming . thats it .
its simpler and easier compared to the jobs like manager of whatever company you see . or just a small receptionist or clerk's
workload are enough to pile up like mountains of work .
godd . i miss chao tai mai ! i miss the kids over there !
i hope there will really be another cip overseas trip during the end of yr . :D
